There’s something special about those recipes that go from “let’s try this” to “we need to make this again” in just one bite. That’s exactly what happened in our kitchen yesterday. We made these Chicken Shawarma Wraps for the family, and they went down so well that we simply had to share them with you.
Good, tasty food is at the heart of everything we do. Our drizzles aren’t just an extra, they’re the thing that brings meals to life. Whether it’s a quick midweek dinner or something a little more special, having a bottle of Drizzle It! on hand means we never run out of ideas. It’s completely transformed the way we cook at home: simple ingredients, bold flavours, and meals everyone genuinely looks forward to.
And this recipe? It’s a perfect example of that.
Chicken Shawarma Wraps

Ingredients
4 garlic cloves crushed
4tbsp Drizzle It! Lemon Dressing
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp natural yogurt
4 chicken breasts bashed with a rolling pin until slightly flattened
Pittas or flatbreads
For the tahini dressing
2 tbsp tahini
1 lemon juiced
200g natural yogurt
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
Squeeze of honey
For the salad
½ red cabbage (about 500g), finely shredded
1 red onion finely sliced
1 small cucumber peeled, halved, deseeded and sliced
200g cherry tomatoes halved
1 Little Gem lettuce chopped
Drizzle It! Lemon Dressing
Method
Marinate the chicken
Mix the garlic, Drizzle It! Lemon Dressing, spices, oregano, a generous pinch of salt, and yogurt into a paste. Coat the chicken evenly, then cover and marinate for at least 1 hour—or overnight for even deeper flavour.
Prepare the tahini dressing
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, season to taste, then cover and chill until needed.
Make the salad
Toss all the salad ingredients together and finish with a generous drizzle of Lemon Dressing. This is where everything starts to come alive—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour.
Cook the chicken
Grill or oven-cook the marinated chicken until lightly charred and cooked through. Set aside to rest before slicing.
Assemble your wraps
Scatter the salad over your flatbread or pitta, top with sliced chicken, and finish with a generous drizzle of tahini dressing.
Enjoy!
Serve immediately and watch them disappear.

Why We Love This Recipe
This dish is everything we believe good food should be, simple to prepare, packed with flavour, and easy to adapt. Our Lemon Dressing works double duty here: tenderising the chicken while adding a bright, zesty depth, and bringing the salad together beautifully.
It’s also a perfect example of how our drizzles can completely revolutionise everyday meals. With just one bottle, you can marinate, dress, and elevate a dish without needing a long list of extras. That’s what makes cooking feel effortless—and why there’s always something new to try at the table.
Yesterday, this recipe brought the whole family together, and judging by the empty plates, it’s going to become a regular in our kitchen.
We hope it finds a place in yours too
