Spring into the BBQ season

It's Bank Holiday weekend and the sun is shining, and it's even warm enough to crank up the Barbie!

Get your BBQ off to a sizzling start with one of our tasty marinades, simple to use and absolutely delicious with nothing artificial in them whatsoever.

Nothing beats sticky chicken in BBQ sauce, and our new spicy BBQ marinade makes it simple and delicious to make. Simply marinade your chicken for at least an hour. If you are using diced chicken breast, stick onto skewers alternating with your favourite veg - mushrooms, baby tomatoes and onion for example.

Heat the BBQ. If using a coal BBQ, wait for the coals to turn ashen before you start cooking. Cook the kebabs for 5-8 mins on each side (depending on the heat). Once nicely charred but not fully cooked through, start painting on more of the Spicy BBQ marinade as this will give a great flavour and help make them really sticky. Turn the kebab often.

If you're a fan of homemade burgers, try adding a big dollop into homemade pork burgers. So easy and tastes amazing!

Our Moroccan Style Marinade is also delicious with chicken, use in the same way, or coat chicken drumsticks. It also works really well with lamb steaks.

For a Moroccan style Lamb burger, simply add a generous dollop into minced lamb before combining with breadcrumbs, egg and seasoning.

Brilliant in cous cous. For a delicious side salad simply take one red pepper, one red onion, a courgette and aubergine if liked, chop up into even sizes, mix them in Moroccan marinade and roast for 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile make up some cous cous according to the pack instructions. When ready, add a good measure of Moroccan Marinade to the cous cous and mix in the cooked veg. Makes a delicious side dish for your BBQ.

Use our Balsamic Dressing to pep up a tomato salad, and for those who like a spicy kick, have some of our Sweet Chilli dressing at the ready.

Try some of our Lemon dressing drizzled over your salmon before you cook on the BBQ, the flavours complement each other beautifully.

Make the most of the sunshine, and make it easy on yourself. You don't need to spend hours in the kitchen to create an amazing spread that will offer something for all the family.
