This seared beef drizzled in our Spicy Chilli dressing is delicious cooked in a griddle pan, under the grill or makes a delicious center piece for a BBQ.
Ingredients
Beef steak of choice
Lincolnshire Drizzle Sweet Chilli Dressing
Drizzle a couple of tbsps of Sweet Chilli Dressing over the steak and grind over some black pepper, leave to stand for about 1/2 hour.
Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle pan over a high heat and cook the steak for 4 mins on one side and 2-3 mins on the other, depending on the thickness and how rare you like it.
Transfer to a plate to rest.
Serve with a potato salad drizzled in Sweet Chilli Dressing -
Serves 4
400g new potatoes
210g fine green beans, trimmed and halved
200g frozen peas
320g romaine lettuce
A good slug of Lincolnshire Drizzle Chilli Dressing
Cook the potatoes in a pan of simmering water for 5 mins. Add the beans and cook 5 mins more, then tip in the peas and cook for 2 mins until all the vegetables are just tender. Drain.
Mix the warm vegetables into the Chilli dressing until well coated.
Pile the lettuce onto plates, top with the vegetable mix.
Slice the steak and add to the salad and serve while still warm.
Drizzle more dressing if you like it hot!
Add a dollop of Soured Cream too if you like!
