Sticky Chicken

Looking for something quick, easy and very tasty for a mid week meal? Look no further. Just four ingredients make up this super sticky chicken recipe – and it's on the table in half an hour. Midweek meal heaven!


  • 4 chicken breasts, with or without skin depending on your preference

  • 4tbsp Lincolnshire Drizzle Lemon Dressing

  • 1 tbsp clear honey

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

New potatoes and green salad, to serve

This can be cooked in a griddle pan, on a BBQ or roasted in the oven.

  • If cooking in the oven, preheat to fan 170C/conventional 190C/gas 5.

  • Put the chicken breasts into a tray.

  • Put all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and warm through in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir to mix and pour over the chicken. Leave it to marinade for about an hour if you have time, or it can be cooked straight away.

  • If roasting, slide the dish into the oven and roast for 30-40 minutes, basting every 10 minutes or so.

  • If frying in a griddle pan, or on the BBQ, cook for about 20-30 minutes and keep basting with the marinade juices. turn them through cooking to get them browned and sticky all over.

  • Leave the chicken to stand for 5 minutes before serving with new potatoes and a green salad
